Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant/Financial Controller with a minimum of 8 years in financial management. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of financial reporting and a hands-on approach to managing all aspects of Accounting and Financial Control. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide in time and quality assured financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and implement internal controls, ensuring that robust systems are in place to safeguard the company’s financial integrity and mitigate risk.
- Develop and implement effective financial processes and controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of two finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Lead and be a part of the preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Work closely with Business Control and CFO.
- Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management, with a proven ability to handle complex financial tasks.
- Strong knowledge of profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial controls.
- Experience leading teams, with the ability to drive performance and inspire confidence.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting, and process improvements.
- System savvy with proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience with “Monitor” a plus).
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience from working with accounting in a manufacturing company or factory.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
- A driven, self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, results-oriented workplace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
