Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and highly organized Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Echandia. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen understanding of technical projects, and a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes on time and within budget. This role requires strong project management expertise, technical acumen in engineering/manufacturing, and the ability to align stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, quality, and compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring that all technical aspects are aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical projects related to design, production, and integration of lithium-ion energy storage systems.
Create comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and milestones.
Coordinate with technical teams to define project deliverables, requirements, and success criteria.
Ensure adherence to project methodologies.
Lead cross-functional project teams, motivating members and driving performance toward project goals.
Facilitate regular stand-ups to ensure clear communication and collaboration among the team.
Identify and provide support for team skill development as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, maintaining transparency and providing regular updates on progress.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal quality systems (ISO 9001/AS9145), and customer requirements.
Conduct stakeholder presentations to review project status, issues, and resolutions.
Actively manage expectations and negotiate changes in project scopes with stakeholders.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; implement contingency plans as needed.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Required-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or industry related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a technical manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in project management tools
Experience in risk assessment and project budgeting.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to changing project needs.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a positive team culture.
Due to the on-site requirements of this role, only candidates who currently reside within commuting distance of Marysville, WA will be considered; relocation assistance is not available.
Preferred-
PMP certification or equivalent.
Experience with ISO 9001, AS9145, or similar quality standards.
Background in supply chain, ERP (e.g., Monitor ERP), or compliance-driven industries.
